Azrael laughed dryly and without humor. "Thanks for the vote of confidence, but you wheren't all that hot about me awhile ago," She commented as she stood, scraping her dignity off the floor for the second time that night, aware of the staring humans, and perhaps even supernaturals. It was time fir her to leave. The emotionally taxing dance had left her physically drained as well, and she still had to walk home.
Kappa disappeared again, though he leapt to curl around his Witch's neck, in preperation of their departure, purring in his thought that Azrael was feeling better. "I suppose I'll leave now. Sorry for the trouble I've caused," She said, looking anxiously at the drama-watching humans before she moved to leavve. She had enjoyed the dancing part, even if before and after was a horrible expericance.

It was apparent that Alex wasn’t going to be able to convince Azrael of anything now. Their night had finally hit the point of no return, no apology acceptable. He shrugged at her humorless laugh and comment, if he didn’t have anything to say, why try? Nothing he said was going to work, and perhaps it was a good thing. Kappa faded out of sight, which was slightly disconcerting, but otherwise probably normal.
And with that, Azrael turned and left. Alex was tired of being the one left behind, with the stares of humans and rumors on his back. That was why he should stay at home and practice his spells. Shaking his head, Alex ordered one more drink at the bar, downed it in one and then headed outside into the warm, dark night.
His slight drunkenness made it hard to focus, but he could get home well enough. It was the anger that the drink inspired that could be dangerous. Alex clenched his fists and closed his eyes, fighting off thoughts of Izabel. Blue light crackled and fizzed between his palms and shot out at the sidewalk, leaving jagged cracks in it.
Not feeling, was better than the opposite by a long shot.
