Magic:
Glimmerspell: Through a mixture of a magic powder and words of power, Azrael can fool other's eyes into looking over her. Not invisiblitiy: people forget her as soon as they see her
Illusion: Through Words of power she can make illusions, simple parlor tricks through which she makes her living.
Scrying: A powerful and time-consuming spell, in which Azrael makes a potion, and if she gives the potion a time, name, and location, as well as something that is precious to the person.
Personality:
Azrael isn't your average teenager, as if her being a witch hasn't already told you this. She is the sole caretaker of her seven-year-old brother, Alexander, as she poses as a 18-year-old. Her brother is the most important thing to her, and she does her very best to keep him out of her magical world. However, she loves her powers, and is attempting to learn the powers of Necromancy. She is a serious individual, who rarely makes friends because of her solitary nature. That, and the fact that she so often believes herself better than others. She's a pessimist, seeing the glass as half-empty. However, her bright sides is she loves kids, and is patient and gentle, when she's not busy being hard-headed. She hates to be idle, and is always doing something, no matter how pointless.

History:
Azrael was born into a magical family, whom where known and proud of their unity and powers. Everyone was some sort of magician, illusionist, or psycic, and near every child had the gene, and if they didn't, they still knew and helped out, often being changed into a vampire or werewolf later on in life. Magic was a deeply-engrained way of life.
Which was why it was so strange that Azrael's father chose a human for his wife instead of a witch. It was highly debated whether or not their family would have any magic at all, but it was that the first two children born to their parents had unusually strong magical blood. Loki was trained be some of the most repected warlocks in the clan, hoping to teach him how to control his powers. However, as expected, things went horribly wrong.
Loki went rogue. He murdered the clan, saving only Azrael and Alexander, thinking that both would be as powerful as him, and he could mold them to his own purposes. He began teaching Azrael, but she hated him for what he did to their family. She learned little, but what she did learn helped her in the showdown against her brother. Unfortunately, most of the spellbook she had created was destroyed in the battle, and she was left with only three spells. So, she took her brother and went to the safest and most dangerous place she knew: Silverthorn Crossing.
