Okay so this is just gonna be what’s happening to Juliet’s family while she’s not there. Just because I’m bored and felt like I had a better grasp of Nina’s personality than Juliet’s. >.< Oops.

This Will Be Our Dirty Little Secret Coffee with the friends had been nice. A tame evening compared to the many Nina had had as a teenager. A small smile came to her lips at the thought. What a trouble maker she’d been. The night air was chilly around her, her breaths were white puffs in the dark. The quaint little street leading up to Nick’s place was only lit by a few flickering street lamps and the stray golden glow coming from a house on the side. Nothing could ruin today, it had been great. Nina sighed and wrapped her cardigan around her a little more, she didn’t want to catch a cold. She heard a door open, interrupting the sole sound of her heels clicking on the damp pavement.
“Nina!”
A familiar voice called. Nina put on a smile as she glimpsed her neighbour, Karen, standing in the doorway of her family’s house. Raising a hand into the cold, Nina waved. Karen had to be one of the loveliest people she’d ever met. With three kids and a husband, she was always running around for something, but seemed so happy. Nina hoped that’s how content Nick and her would be once they were married and maybe had kids.
“I’m glad I caught you,” Karen kept up a quick pace until she was standing in front of Nina, and quickly gave her a warm hug. “I know you and Nick don’t really have time to cook these days, so I thought I’d bring you some homemade risotto.”
Nina took the still warm container carefully and sighed. “You barely have any time to yourself, you really shouldn’t have. But thank you.”
“Anytime, Nina. Now get on home, it’s freezing out here and Nick’s probably waiting.”
“Thanks again, say hi to everyone for me!” Nina waved with a small smile and hurried on home.
