The world came to an end in 2012. The apocalypse lasted nearly four years before it finally began to wane, but humanity could not wait out the devastation. In 2013, world leaders began an operation that moved most of the global population underground to a secret world known as Hollow Earth. From then on, these people flourished under the care of the Hollow Earth military. On the surface, destruction still threatened those who remained, but within time life became bearable again. Communities formed all over, some safer than others. Believing these were the last remaining humans, extraterrestrials known as Body Snatchers released a plague on the Earth in hopes to wipe out the human race.[/blockqute]
