[th]Layne let her hands stroke the uneaven and chipped painted school railing. Its metal shining brightly underneath all its paint, covering what was really and truly prettier. With these thoughts lingering, Layne picked at the paint with perfectly manacured nails. Her blonde bangs falling into her face from the winds gentle weeze. It was chilly sometimes, but not t bad. Layne reached into her northface and recovered a canteen filled with, you hear me right, blood. You probably already guessed that though. Running her tongue over her teeth, leaving not one drop of red to stain their perfect white surface. Reaching behind her to tuck a loose strand of hair, she could feel the faint sensation of eyes. She put both hand on the rail and leaned forward, feet hovering just above the concrete. No smile upon her lips, not one tug at the sides of her mouth. She had noticed the darkening clouds, and was almost for sure there would be a storm. If there was, she would indeed seel out the janitors closet.

The lithe brown cat raced down the railing, enjoying his game immensely. Behind him ran his witch, desperate in her attempt to catch the cat. "NYANYAAA!" He cried out, taunting the young witch with her inability to move as fast as he. He looked forward in time to see another person in his way. He was close enough to get a wiff of her scent, and knew what she was by the blood-infused scent, but she didn't smell like a threat, and Kappa's talent was sniffing out personality. He lept as if to jump over her, but landed instead on her head, looking down on the Vaampire from the top of her blonde head, reaching his paw down to wave in front of her face curiously. "Nyan Nya?" He meowed.
Azrael, meanwhile, ran desperately after her familiar."Kappaaa!" She called, trying to catch up with her cat. Her breath came in gasps by now, and a stich in her side hurt as she ran. She saw her cat bothering someone, so she allowed herself to slow, taking a break as she walked over on trembling legs, drenched in sweat with a deadly look in her eye. "Ka.....Pa.... You... Dragged me.... Over her.... Just to.... Flirt?" She huffed out, glaring daggers at her oblivious cat. She took deep breaths until she was able to talk to the other girl. "Look, I'm sorry my cat was bothering you. He's extremely annoying, I know," She said, glaring at her still-blivious cat, who was still waving paws in front of the girl's face. Typical Kappa.

Layne had felt the slight tremble of the rails before anything had happened. It wasn't until the source pounced upom her head and waved its furry little mitts in her face. Layne let out a squeal as another life stumbled into vision. Look, im sorry my cat was bothering you. Hes extremely anoying, i know. These words came out in short huffs, cut breaths. Her shriek soon turned to a giggle as she reached atop her head and grabbed the beast. She poked its nose with hers and grinned a half hearted grin. "No trouble! I love cats, he is simply adorable!"she remarked before handing the cat back. Layne looked up as a the wind picked up, the clouds were overhead know. "If it starts to storm..." She talked to herself. Then realizing what she had done, shut up and looked the girl in the eyes letting out a smile. Reaching out a hand and bending down, Layne pushed back her bangs with the other hand."Im Layne, you?"

Azrael took the Havanna Brown and he scrambled up his Witch's arm, curling around her neck like a furry, living neck pillow, purring like a motor engine, which told Azrael that this person gave her nothing to fear. "Yeah. Just Ah-freakin'-dorable," Azrael grumbled, reaching up to scratch his ears anyway, feeling his contentment through their bond. She reached out to take the girl's hand. "Azrael. It's a pleasure," She said, her cat inturuppting as soon as she finished.
"NYANYA!" He exclaimed, and chewed gently on the brown-haired witch's neck. "Hm?" Azrael commented, though she only got an annoyed look in response. "Fine," She mumbled, turning back to the girl. "Kappa says you're a Vampire. Are you?" She said, leaning against the railing. She didn't bother reaching for her glimmerspell. If this girl was a vamp, and wanted to get her, it would take alot more than a meager Glimmerspell to stop her. Try more of a Flame-type spell, but Azrael didn't know any of those.
She looked up, for the first time noticing the darkening sky. It did look like rain. Good thing for Azrael, she loved walking in the rain, even if her kitty friend despised it. Though if it was a storm it would be more trouble than it was worth, because Kappa and Alexander both hated thunder, and would be panicing if this wass a thunderstorm. "How troublesome," Azrael commented to the sky, as if it would listen to her. She didn't have any weather-working talents, either.

Rain wasn't the problem. It was the noise. The zig zag crackle that lit up the sky. The electrical feeling she so commonly knew. It was this that made her jump and the first little roll of thunder. Her heart pounding strangley fast, so fast that she wondered if the cat heard it. A strange question the girl asked, but she would say truthfully she was. "I am.." Layne managed to say without scurrying away like the coward she was. It was infact horrid to stand there and watch. So horrifying that Layne clutched the ralings for support. Her eyelids halfway closed, mouth gasping for air as it always did when storms approached. She seemed out of breath when in reality, she need less air to calk down. Silly i know, a vampire needing air, but she felt light headed. She was hyperventlating and would faint soon. Waking up drenched in rain wwas almost like seeing yourself covered in blood, that of a horror movie. She shut her eyes tightly and pulled her northfaces hood up. "Im gonna...go." she said the last word in a whisper, afraid of what this girl before her was thinking.
The lightning struck, causing its electrical current to buzz through the thick damp air. Layne's eyes open wide, she leaped to the side of the school and clung to its ruff red bricks. Her heart pumping do wildly that you could see it jumping. Oh lord, god almighty, please please PLEASE save me...
