Small, soft, blue wings fluttered quickly through the marketplace. Sapphire eyes scanning the area as blonde hair blew in the breeze as the small creature flew. "I still don't know why humans need these places when they have other places that have stuff." She said to herself as she landed on a stand. Looking around, she sees the street crowded and a lot of yelling and shouting can be heard. "All this noise is giving me a headache." The little fairy said as she held her head. Gasping as she lost her footing, from someone bumping into the pole, she started to fall backwards, making it impossible for her to flap her wings. She screamed as she fell, to which she thought was her death. She closed her eyes, waiting for her life to end but felt herself land on something soft. "Huh?" The small fairy slowly opened her eyes as she sees a lot of dark blonde long things. "What the..." She started to say as she was about to fly off. She flapped her wings to go but found herself tangled in the web of the tiny strands. As she struggled to get free.

Amberlyn walked threw the market, she was getting tired of walking, she wanted to fly, its much faster as well. But she had to act human if she wanted to live here, or anywhere really. She had bought some cute clothe and jewelry and her shopping day was almost done. All she had left was her weekly grocery shopping which she also did at the market.
She walked across the street to the food section and picked up a 'green' bag. She was glad humans where finally starting to think of the environment but it was not enough. They had to make a change, the world could not take any more harm. Fairies where here for that reason, to protect all that mother nature has created. Amberlyn hated humans the first time she had ever seen them and what they have done. But now she has forgiven them, humans, at first, had no way of knowing what they where doing. She now tries to educate them.
Amber sighed, her bags where starting to get heavy. Fairies had as much strength as a human. Now she felt something funny, her wings almost 'popping' out of its transparent state. She had this happen three times before. There is a fairy close by. She looked aorund, taking of her sunglasses. Fairies may not be strong but they have better eye sight and hearing. She peaked around, a small voice finally hitting her ears. One of the small fairies i assume. Amberlyn was what most called 'a large fairy' though she is smaller then an average human girl. She finally saw her now. A small blonde fairy stuck to a spider web. Amber could not stop her self from laughing. ''Well hello there little one'', Amber pulled the smaller fairy free and her to her wings, holding her like some might hold a butterfly. ''Im Amber, and what is your name?''.

The small fairy screamed as she closed her eyes. Shivering in fear, she waited for the giant hand to kill her. She shut her eyes tighter as she felt the hand grabbing her and lifting her up. SHe felt her wings twitter and had gotten confused. "What the? That's when a fairy is close by...but where is the other fairy?" She asked herself as she let her wings twitter and awaited her death. She stopped shivering as she heard a gentle voice talking to her, feeling the hand open but leaving her on the hand. Slowly, the small fairy looked up into the blue eyes of a blonde female, holding her with a smile. "V-Victoria...y-you?" Victoria asked, scared. As she looked at the human, she felt something different about her and felt her wings twitter slightly more. Her eyes widen slightly as she came to a conclusion. " She isn't a human...she's a fairy! But how is she human sized? this is the first timei seen a fairy this tall" Victoria is glad to have meet another fairy and slowly became unfrightened. Fluttering her wings, she levitated infront of Amber's eyes. "How are you human sized?" She asked, confusion getting to her.

Amberlyn looked at the small fairy, she seemed so scared. But before Amber could really talk to her she moved in behind a tree, hoping no human saw her, and if they did, hopefully they though the smaller fairy was a doll. Soon Amberlyn waited, she could see the smaller fairy calm down, her body stopped shaking, Amber was glad. ''Nice to meet you Victoria. And well im called Amber, but my full name is Amberlyn Brylen Greenberg.'' She smiled, Amber had to stop her self, sometimes she could talk to much and sometimes things people don't want to hear.
Amber let Victoria catch her breath and realize what is truly happening. When she saw Victoria flutter she tried to grab her, but stopped her self. ''You know, you should really hide your wings and stop flying. Humans can't know what we are.'' She fixed her search and gave a quick look around. She sighed at Victoria's question, kind of confused. ''Well there are two fairy size, normal like mine, and tiny like yours.'' Amberlyn was getting nervous, she truly wanted the fairy to stop flying and making them so obvious in this crowded market.
Amberlyn wondered where this girl had come from. She had known all the fairies her in town, for now there where not many. She had no idea if Victoria was a ''wild fairy'', you know, one who still lived out in the forests. Amberlyn had left her natural home a few years a go, she did miss it, but this life is her's now.

"Why live with humans? From what I i learned about them, they whine and destroy things." Victoria said as she landed on Amber's hand, lowering her wings. She wonder why any supernatural would live among humans in the first place. She seen the destruction they cause from her own experience 14 years ago. She started to think of the memories of that tragic day like it was only yesterday. Seeing the bodies of her family and entire village brought her to tears everytime. She held her tears in and heard a growling noise. Putting her hand on her stomach, she felt it rumble. Looking up at the other fairy's face, she smiled sheepishly and continued to hold onto her stomach. "Have anything on you to eat?" She asked embarrased. She then remembered how she hadn't eaten anything on over two days. And since she has a small body, she needs a lot more food then a normal size human or human sized fairy. She then sat down on the hand and started to think of all the food she would love to have. Her mouth started to water as she remembers all the smells of the different foods of the places she visted and how she just wanted to eat all of it. She hoped Amber didn't think of her as annoying cause she would love to be her friend for she has always been alone and was tired of it.

Amber had never really though of why she stayed here, she knew there was a reason but for now it had escaped her. The blond fairy watched her new friend try and hide her wings, it made Amber smile, she remembered the first few times she tried to hid hers. ''Well, I chose to stay here because i can watch them form up close, plus i could influence a few humans to do good and not harm. I guess that why...''.
She looked around, there where so many happy families, so many happy faces. There could be no way they know how much they could be affecting the earth right now. Even if they id know, many had no idea how to act or what to do, it was horrible. Plus the fact that a so called 'government' is hiding as much as possible AND not helping.
Amberlyn blinked back into reality. ''You know.. there is a way for fairies to make their wings 'invisible'. Just concentrated and think of them disappearing.. and they will fade''. She sighed, it seemed she could never do her job right. Plus Victoria was hungry, something else to worry about. ''Well I have..'', Amber started to reach into the bag, she had just bought some food here at the market, ''some food, how about crackers?''. She pulled out two small crackers and held it out to Victoria hoping these where fine.

Victoria listened to what Amber said and closed her eyes. Concentrating hard, she imagined her wings gone. After a few minutes, she slowly opened her eyes to look back at her wings. At first, she was getting scared that she couldn't find them but remembered that her wings are invisable. "I did it!" Victoria said happily as she looked at her invisable wing. She thought hard on what Amber said about staying around the humans. "Maybe...maybe i can help out like Amber." She thought to herself. She snapped back int reality when she heard her stomach growl, forgetting she was hungry. She watched as Amber was digger through her bag. She pulled something out and tilted her head. "What's a cracker?" She asked as Amber put one next to her. Getting on her hands and knees, she sniffed it and took a bite out of it. Her eyes widen as a wonderful flavor bursts in her mouth and covering her tastebuds. Smiling, she closed her eyes and chews slowly, enjoying the flavor. "That is delicious!"[/i] She said happily as she started to eat more of the cracker. Once she finished it, she sat on Amber's hand, letting her stomach settled from her lunch. "I can't eat another bite." She said, looking up at her friend.
